Pre-Wedding Legal Requirements

(Minister’s Marriage Licence Processing)

All wedding packages listed above include professional officiation by Dwayne Fuller and require the issuance of a Minister’s Marriage Licence prior to your ceremony.

As part of the Pre-Wedding Service, I personally manage the legal process to ensure your marriage is properly authorized and compliant under Jamaican law.

Documents Required (For BOTH Parties)

Please submit TWO (2) certified copies of each applicable document:

1. Birth Certificate

• Must reflect your full legal name and father’s name

• Certified copy required

2. Valid Picture Identification

• Passport, Driver’s Licence, or National ID

• Name must match the birth certificate

3. Occupation / Calling

• Must be precise and descriptive
  (e.g. “Group Manager II”, “Auto Mechanic”, “Practical Nurse”)

4. Father’s Full Name

• Required for completion of statutory documents

If Previously Married

Divorced Applicants:

• Final Divorce Decree / Decree Absolute

• Certified copy required

• Overseas documents must be apostilled or notarized

Widowed Applicants:

• Certified copy of the former spouse’s Death Certificate

Additional Forms (If Applicable)

Additional statutory forms may be required if:

• Father’s name is missing from the birth certificate

• Names differ across documents (misspellings, missing middle names, name changes)

• Applicant is 16 or 17 years old (Letter of Consent required)

Where original documents are presented, a full set of photocopies is also required.

How to Submit Your Documents

Email submissions are NOT accepted.

Documents must be submitted physically using one of the methods below:

• In-Person Drop-Off
  Marriage Officer JA / Dwayne Fuller International Limited
  Kingston, Jamaica
  (Exact location shared after booking)

Courier Submission
Clients may courier certified documents to the designated Kingston office.
Courier details are provided upon confirmation.

Submission Timeline

• Documents must be received at least 7–10 business days before your wedding date

• Late submissions may affect licence approval and ceremony scheduling

Once received and approved, I will:
✔ Submit the licence application
✔ Collect the Minister’s Marriage Licence
✔ Prepare the marriage register and ceremony documentation
